Starting your Delivery Franchise - The Next Steps

Starting a franchise with PACK & SEND couldn’t be easier. Our structured application process, known as our Discovery Process, allows us to see if you’re a good fit for our business, and helps you decide whether this is the right opportunity for you.

Before you make any decisions, the Discovery Process gives you the opportunity to find out what being a PACK & SEND franchise partner means on a day-to-day basis.

Find out more about our application process below.

SEND ME AN INFORMATION PACK

Stage 1 - Initial telephone conversation

Provides the candidate with an overview of the application process and allows PACK & SEND to learn more about them.

Stage 2 - Introductory meeting

Allows the candidate to learn more about PACK & SEND, including the marketplace in which we operate, our typical customers and why they choose to use us, our culture, the day-to-day life of a PACK & SEND franchise partner, and the strategic direction of the brand within the UK.

Stage 3 - Disclosure meeting

In this meeting we provide a candidate with full disclosure of the business, including financial disclosure of existing service centres. The candidate will receive a full prospectus of relevant documents, and would be given a demonstration of the proprietary software used within the business.

Stage 4 - Various activities

The candidate would complete the following activities:

  • Meet some existing franchise partners.
  • Prepare the business plan and finalise funding.
  • Obtain legal advice on the Franchise License.
  • Register their company.
  • Think about where the service centre would be best located.

Stage 5 - Final meeting

This is the final stage of approval and any outstanding issues or questions will be resolved here. The candidate’s business plan will also be reviewed.

Stage 6 - License execution

The candidate pays the Initial Franchise Fee and the Franchise License is signed in the presence of lawyers.

Stage 7 - Property and training

A property would be identified and the lease negotiations would commence. Once complete, shop-fitters would begin work on designing and fitting out the service centre, and the 8-week training programme for the candidate commences. The final step is the service centre opening for trading.

Approved applicants typically open their own service centre within 4-6 months of the initial enquiry.
