Our core business is the development of a national chain of (predominantly franchisee-operated) logistics Service Centres providing a comprehensive, end-to-end packing and delivery solution to both business and consumer customers and we partner with some of the biggest brands in the world, as well as specialist shipping agents, to deliver unique and flexible solutions to meet our customer’s need.
The continued development of PACK & SEND has now allowed the creation of opportunities for graduate entrants to join our business with a view to learning from, expanding, enhancing and, ultimately, succeeding the UK management team at all levels of the business.
Whilst all graduate entrant roles are initially based at our Reading HQ, entrants can expect to be involved in the business across the UK and may even be required to spend some time with our Global team in Australia.

The market opportunity and growth demands on PACK & SEND UK ensures that opportunities exist for career and personal advancement for our graduate entrants whether they ultimately find a permanent role in our HQ or working with the Service Centres in the field. PACK & SEND UK head office is located in Reading, Berkshire from where we manage the recruitment and training of new franchisees and our relationship with our Global License holders in Sydney. We run central marketing initiatives and communicate with, and offer support to, the Company and Franchisee run Service Centre network and manage our major service suppliers from HQ, and we also initiate and implement system and operations changes originating both in the UK and Australia.
The relatively small scale of our HQ operation and the diverse demands of stakeholders in the business makes our culture very open to initiative and innovation. Whilst most of our Service Centres are owned and operated by franchisees, we also have Corporate units that are run by PACK & SEND UK and graduate entrants may prefer this side of our business as a route to early responsibility and a senior position.

Working with the PACK & SEND Service Centres is both challenging and rewarding. We provide an end-to-end service for our customers and, of course, we are unique for our range of packing services and you will learn to become an expert in assessing the right type of packaging technique for sending any item.
Our operations don’t often involve physically transporting the goods ourselves. We are like a ‘travel agent’ for the freight industry adding value by working closely with our partner suppliers to find the best shipping solution for our customers and, because we deliver to all corners of the globe, our Service Centres are connected every day with people around the world.
As a key front-line staff member, you may work with our Franchisee Management team – regularly speaking with and visiting the centre owners – or you may prefer to gain early responsibility by managing one of the Corporate Service Centres. In either role you are essentially the face of the brand – representing the company to our franchisees and/or customers.
The key to developing, or becoming, a successful Service Centre Manager is having a passion for embracing our ‘No Limits’ customer service culture and a confidence to make sales. A people person with a positive and vibrant approach will do well in this role because they need to be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Working in the Operations part of the business also requires an attention to detail and the motivation to execute local sales/marketing initiatives – as you will be responsible for driving the growth performance of Franchisees in your remit or the Service Centre you are managing (as if it were your own).
