Because France is in the EU, there are additional regulations to consider on top of the country’s unique import rules. 

Parcels making their way onto EU soil face customs and duty fees – charged to the recipient – plus, more stringent import regulations. UK senders need to complete a commercial invoice, declaring the contents of the parcel, so the receiving country can calculate how much import duty will be charged.

ADDRESSING PARCELS TO FRANCE

Addressing parcels to France is a little different from labelling domestic parcels. 

The receiver’s title and first and surnames go on the top line, with the surname written in capitals for clarity. The second line should feature the house number and road. And a five-digit postcode and the city go on the third line.
