When considering a new business venture, it’s important to know how much money you can realistically invest. It’s also useful to remember that, typically, the more you put in, the more you get out – this applies to both effort and finances.

Investing a lot of money in a new business venture needs careful consideration. Our proven business model and extensive experience in our niche is a strong base for your investment – and the support we offer our franchisees is invaluable.
As a guide, the funding required to open a PACK & SEND service centre in the UK is in the region of £84,500. You’ll also need to make an allowance for working capital of around £35,000 – £50,000, to cover the operating costs until the business starts to generate profit. This brings the total investment to approximately £120,000 – £135,000.
However, there are some regional variations in operating costs. For example, property rent and staff salaries are typically higher around London and the South East. This is something to bear in mind when thinking about your ideal franchise territory.
As a minimum, franchisees will require access to £50,000 – £60,000 in liquid funds. The balance can be raised through a bank loan – with lenders prepared to consider a loan of up to 70% of the total investment, and PACK & SEND franchisees enjoying positive lending terms with our banking partners.
