Ana and Gairn are amazing right from the first contact I had 3 paintings to transport from Surrey to the USA, they picked them up on q and packed them and the first two were received really promptly. The third got stuck at New York customs (pesky immigration in USA) through NO fault of Pack and Send or DHL.Gairn was amazing, he rang me regularly in the US, liaised with the head of DHL who even commented that the service I was getting from Pack and Send was amazing and we should rate them, praise indeed from a NY DHL guy.... not known for their gratefulness!Gairn contacted me again on BH weekend (in the UK) to confirm that the final painting had been released and it arrived the following day. Used this service during virus lockdown. I needed to ship a replacement computer to a relative who lived in a remote part of Wales, and was not allowed to drive there due to lockdown restrictions. I wanted a carrier that would insure the goods - most of the standard ones will not cover electricals. We recently had to send 9 glazed paintings from Sussex to Bordeaux. We received several quotes and Pack & Send was by far the cheapest. The service was absolutely faultless. We used the Horsham/Guildford branch and Ana was brilliant - super efficient and ultra helpful. The service was seamless. The (unpacked) paintings were picked up from our house, we were kept updated through the whole process. The recipient sent us an e-mail tonight saying how well the paintings were packed - which we asked Pack & Send to do for us. I hired Pack & Send Guildford's services to collect a fragile vintage sound mixer in Surrey, pack it, put it on a pallet and transport it from England to Sweden. I must say I am very happy with my choice; I have bought a lot of large/heavy studio equipment from abroad and have never seen anything packed as good as this (see picture.) I can not imagine a safer way to travel for my mixer, still the package was so cleverly constructed that it took less than 5 minutes to unpack. Communication (by email) was also very swift and polite, and the 69kg package took only three days by road (with DHL) all the way from Guildford to Stockholm, all for what I must say was a very fair price. No fuss excellent service with good communications. Thank you Stephanie. Friends sent us a large painting from Guildford to Naples Fl. For a variety of reasons there was a timing issue. The painting was picked up on the afternoon I called from USA and bear in mind we are 5 hrs behind UK time , dispatched within 24 hrs and arrived here undamaged a week later.
