Name:

Sheryl Ryen

Sheryl’s Art Deco Emporium is a highly respected dealer of original Art Deco pieces including clocks, sculptures and lamps, they have a loyal customer base who demand the highest levels of service – hence the choice of PACK & SEND Croydon as their shipping partner.

Sheryl has been collecting and buying/selling art deco for over 30 years and thus has customers worldwide. According to Sheryl, “

Many people are unhappy to buy from a website and understandably reluctant to give financial details over the web.” It is for that exact reason that Sheryl much prefers making verbal contact with her customers before making payment arrangements.”

This personal approach is what has led Sheryl to gain a positive rapport with her customers, and in the process, she has gained the insight that they “appreciate a personal service on a one to one basis, which is why viewing is strictly by appointment only.

What made you choose PACK & SEND?

Shipments can be delicately designed bronzes from Greek mythology or beautiful lamps with fragile glass shades, all of which can range from a few hundred pounds to several thousand – so they require great care when it comes to preparation and packing.

What is the best aspect of the work they did/do?

Sheryl’s Art Deco Emporium works have travelled to destinations as far afield as China, Australia and the USA so they needed a shipping company with experience in delivering fragile items safely to international destinations. Pieces are crated where necessary and manifested by PACK & SEND to ensure smooth delivery to the customers’ residence with the minimum of delays.
