At Pack & Send we ship items all over the world, and while few will go down in the history books, it got us thinking about some slightly more memorable journeys.

Over the course of history, the world has watched as remarkable individuals have travelled far and wide, all in the name of discovery, adventure and competition. From as far back as 1271, the world’s pioneers have provided us with details of adventures to new, as of then unexplored, territories – from Columbus’ voyage to the new world to Livingstone’s exploration of central and southern Africa. Meanwhile, others of the most significant journeys have been out of this world – quite literally!
