PACK & SEND UK service centres are open for business and continue to receive customers through the doors. We are, however, controlling numbers to our service centres and visitors must make an appointment ahead of arriving. Customers are also requested to follow our safety guidelines (see below) for everybody’s benefit.
Our Service Centres Remain Open for Customers
Whilst we continue to operate our contactless delivery service and recommend working remotely via telephone, website or email to arrange a safe collection, packing or shipping service, we continue to welcome customers to our service centres if required although an appointment is required and availability is subject to local conditions. Shipping as Usual
Despite restrictions having been placed on the movement of people across borders in most parts of the world, these do not apply to goods and freight movements. Consequently, we continue to offer secure delivery services to virtually all areas of the globe and (although there are ad hoc exceptions) we are not experiencing major disruptions to our global delivery network at present. Users of time-sensitive services, however, are suggested to plan ahead and add an extra day or so to their delivery expectations.
We are, of course, undertaking all precautionary actions in line with advice given by the World Health Organization (WHO), the UK Government and the Chief Medical Officer to protect our customers, our service centre teams and our suppliers, and this remains under continual review.
PACK & SEND are providing a range of unique solutions during these unprecedented times, including those listed below.
Contactless pick-up and delivery – If you require our services but prefer to avoid face-to-face contact, we can easily conduct all communication via phone and email. We can also arrange for contactless pick-up and delivery that complies with recommended social distancing measures and the use of sanitisers and appropriate PPE.
Office Equipment Delivery to Homes – If any of your staff are working from home and require business equipment such as computers, tablets, printers, phones, any office supplies or even appropriate furniture then we can home-deliver these to the door in a contactless fashion. We can also assist with the collection and returning of equipment when required as well as importing additional supplies or equipment you may need to purchase from overseas if required.
Personal Effects & Care packages – If you wish to send care packages or important supplies to family and friends in the UK or even overseas then we can provide both appropriate packing and shipping options to ensure safe and swift delivery.
Unplanned Student Collections and Returns – All our service centres can help students who have found that they are not able to access their place of learning or have opted to return to their family home to study. Whether you are in the UK or have returned to a home country elsewhere, we offer a seamless solution for personal possessions needing collection, packing and sending on and can even help arrange goods to be stored until students can return if required.
