New Bristol Packaging Company delivers the goods for ‘Cots for Tots’
Wednesday, 30 March 2011
This week sees the launch of new packaging and delivery company, Pack & Send Bristol Central. The franchise operation is the first in the South West for the international Pack & Send business network and one of just five in the UK.
To mark the occasion, owners of the Bristol branch, Phil and Katie Diacon, have joined the Cots for Tots Business Challenge and pledged to raise money throughout the year for the charity appeal by donating 10% of the company profits.
Katie Diacon said: “We wanted to include a charity in our business right from the start and, as a mum, the Cots for Tots Appeal pulled at my heart strings. By joining the Business Challenge we get to be more involved with life in the City and it is all for a good cause.”
The new store, located in Victoria Street, will be officially declared open by the Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Colin Smith and local businesses and individuals will be invited to join the celebration. There will be an opportunity to see an expandable foam machine in action, a specialist service offered by the company which enables any item to be sent anywhere. To welcome new business customers, Pack & Send Bristol are extending the offer of free packaging for the day on April 6th.
Companies that want to take up the offer need to call 01179209380 and quote ‘PR001’. They will be invited to take their product to Pack & Send’s office in Victoria Street, Bristol at an appointed time, where it will be packaged while they wait.
Pack & Send is the world’s leading retail packaging and delivery company and it specialises in sending fragile, large, awkward and valuable items of any size anywhere in the world, so no item will be regarded as ‘too difficult’ to parcel up. Fragile items like ceramics, sculpture and artwork are packaged in special expandable foam which means the most delicate and fragile of items are cushioned whilst in transit. Pack & Send’s broad range of packaging and shipping solutions mean they are able to live up to their claim of being able to send anything anywhere.
