Conveniently located on Coventry Road - the main route from the NEC and Birmingham International Airport, PACK & SEND Sheldon opened in June 2010 and is owned and managed by Haq Khan and his son Anwar. Haq and Anwar are proud to have been the first store in Birmingham and work hard to ensure that the packing, shipping, freight and courier services that they provide to Sheldon, East Birmingham and the surrounding districts is second to none.
As all our stores have a vehicle based onsite, PACK & SEND Sheldon are able to collect large, awkward or heavy items at short notice from areas such as Solihull, Adcocks Green, Shirley and Henley-in-Arden as well as the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre and associated hotels and districts such as Hall Green, Earlswood, Dorridge and Lapworth.

 PACK & SEND Sheldon, Birmigham were delighted to be the official packing and shipping partners for the 'Antiques for Everyone' Fair held at the NEC in October.
With many major dealers and showrroms exhibiting, the fair is the UK's largest quality antiques and fine art exhibition. PACK & SEND Birmingham Sheldon received a call from a long standing customer last Friday afternoon explaining that they needed to relocate four high capacity servers from their datacentre in Redditch to Paris by Monday morning!
After confirming that it wasn't an April Fool, Haq Khan, owner and manager of the store, made some quick checks on ferry availability and by close of business had arranged for the units to be collected and packed as they were decommissioned early on Sunday morning and then driven straight to their new home in France.
The delighted client has confirmed the machines have now been installed in their Paris datacentre and the minimal downtime has more than justified PACK & SEND's fees for the job.
This is the unique 'No Limits' service that not only sets us apart from the market, but keeps on winning new business!

Julie, an American resident who had recently inherited a fine china dinner service from her parents in Birmingham wanted to get it safely to her home in Arkansas.
Being packing and shipping experts in the Birmingham area, PACK & SEND Sheldon knew that old china can be very fragile and that it would need multi-layer protection in bespoke cartons to be safe in transit. A Solihull business man saw the PACK & SEND Sheldon store on the Coventry Road and immediately realised that he had found a solution to a difficult problem.
Having recently bought a framed shirt worn by the enigmatic striker Diego Maradona in Argentina's successful 1986 World Cup campaign, he was struggling to find a way of getting it to his son in Singapore.

Opening day for PACK & SEND Sheldon saw their first ever job request which was to get a consignment of cut glass to their customer's daughter in Norway.
Such fragile cargo is exactly the type of packing and shipping job that PACK & SEND thrives on and the Sheldon store in Birmingham created bespoke cardboard packaging for each item which was then packied in cartons for transit. The main cartons were also protected by PACK & SEND's custom Foam-In-Place cushioning for the ultimate in packing safety.

China to Spain Arrives for Teatime!
Here is a short note from a customer who received three cases of fragile china and glassware we sent from Olton in Birmingham.
"Hello Haq and Anwar
My sister emailed me this evening to report that the crockery arrived safely AND NOTHING WAS BROKEN!! The driver apparently couldn’t deliver in the morning so finally made the drop at 6pm. She is very pleased and is now the proud owner of thousands of square metres of bubble wrap!

After reading about how PACK & SEND Sheldon had handled shipping the Maradonna shirt, Haq recently got a request to package another valuable item. Paul, an avid Aston Villa fan, had bought a shirt signed by the squad and needed to get it to a friend in Glasgow. Once safely secured in robust packing, the treasured memorabilia arrived safely in Scotland the following day. |
